We met Dave so many years ago, I can't remember even the year - it's probably been 30 years or so. Dave is our financial adviser, but beyond that, a real friend - generous, compassionate, patient, understanding. He was very attentive to our investment needs, and after Shereen passed, he was one of the people who maintained a close association with me. He recognized my loss of confidence and extreme feelings of vulnerability and was very careful not to take advantage of it - every move he made with our portfolio was fully explained to me - ofttimes he had to go over it several times as my capacity to absorb information was usually lost literally an hour after he told me - that's how bad off I was. I had no idea of what to do to preserve our account so that our daughter would have a respectable inheritance - something Shereen herself insisted on - Dave knew that and so he was very careful to comply with Shereen's wishes, which were mine as well. He regularly calls to see how I'm doing and also put me in touch with someone who was able to help me with my grief. I really needed that kind of help as I was sinking lower and lower into a bottomless pit. As a result, I was able to talk to someone who went through the same things I was now going through - it was so helpful to do that. Thanks Dave - you are indeed a true friend in the very best of it's meaning. God bless you my dear friend.
